Habitat for Humanity Volunteers Habitat for Humanity Last Minute OpportunitiesLandscaping/Cleanup day in West Philadelphia! Next Wednesday, July 28, our very own Frank Monaghan will be leading a block cleanup day in at 4211 W. Stiles Street. We could use about 3 more volunteers for this project from 8:30 am to 2pm. We will be landscaping and cleaning up the block that will be home to our New Construction projects schedule to start in a few months. Thursday, July 29 Five volunteers needed at 1957 Sparks St. This is the first volunteer week out at Sparks Street!! Come on out and get your hands dirty on this new project. Also, we still need one more volunteer at Sparks Street on Saturday, July 31. New Volunteer Position: Landscaping Do you miss getting to work outside since you moved to your apartment or condo? Then we have the job for you! Basic landscaping needed: We are looking for volunteers to work on maintaining lots owned by Habitat close to our office and warehouse on Weekday mornings from 9am to noon. Individuals should to be able to use commercial lawn mower and weed eaters, and do some heavy lifting. No need to bring your sheers and mower, all equipment is provided.
