Everyone will start out in the sanctuary at 9:30 to listen to the clergy read the Megillah (scroll of Esther) and explain the story within. Please feel free to bring little brothers and sisters to this service. It is the custom to be very loud and silly, and it always features a creative reenactment of the Purim story starring the clergy (and I usually get to participate too!). When we hear Haman’s name, we boo and shake our groggers.
The RS Youth Theater spring production will be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! This will be our fourth annual production in partnership with MacGuffin Theater and Film Co.
