Purim Celebrations 

Sunday, March 8 at 9:30am during Berkman Mercaz Limud Megillah Reading & Carnival
Hear the student-led Megillah reading during morning t’filah, and then enjoy the Purim Carnival with food, music, games, and prizes.

Monday, March 9: Congregation-Wide Celebrations
Dress in your favorite Sir Elton John “look” for the Purim Spiel or like your favorite character from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel in anticipation of our March 18 program, “Getting to The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: A Walk Through Jewish Television.” 

For Children (0-5 years)
5:00pm: Families with Young Children & Buerger Early Learning Center Purim 
Entertainment by The Juggling Hoffmans! RSVP to Andi Miller. The celebration will conclude with a costume parade.

For Children (6+) & Adults
6:15pm: Megillah Reading
Hear the Megillah (the book of Esther) reading and boo Haman. Enjoy pizza and hamantaschen.

For Adults
7:00pm: Purim Spiel: “I Guess That’s Why They Call It a Spiel”
Sing along to the music of Sir Elton John.

7:30pm: Purim Party
Following the Spiel, enjoy pizza, potluck, and beer brewed by BrewRS. 

A Beloved Purim Tradition Comes to RS – “Mishloach Manot

New this year, give a Purim gift of hamantaschen and other treats to your RS friends and family. These gifts are one of the four mitzvot of Purim, and a fun way to celebrate the holiday and deepen your connections.

Look for an email with information on how to participate!

All proceeds from your mishloach manot purchase benefit Berkman Mercaz Limud.

If you receive a mishloach manot gift, you will be notified and it can be picked up on March 8 during religious school, or March 9 during business hours or at the evening Purim celebration.
